Google has launched agent development kits for the Python and Java programming languages.
The Python ADK 1.0.0 and Java ADK 0.1.0 had been introduced on May 20. The open supply software kits are designed for use for constructing and deploying refined AI brokers with flexibility and management, Google stated. For Python, Google stated the milestone of the 1.0.0 launch signifies that the Python ADK is now production-ready, providing a dependable and sturdy platform for builders to confidently construct and deploy their brokers in dwell environments. For Java, Google stated growth of the equipment brings the ability and suppleness of the ADK to Java builders, enabling them to leverage its capabilities for agent growth wants.
Google describes the ADK as a versatile and modular framework for creating and deploying AI brokers. Whereas optimized for Gemini and the Google ecosystem, ADK is model-agnostic and deployment-agnostic and constructed for compatibility with different frameworks, Google stated. The ADK was designed to make agent growth really feel extra like software program growth, to make it simpler for builders to create, deploy, and orchestrate agentic architectures that vary from easy duties to advanced workflow.
