Databricks is planning to double its analysis and growth (R&D) workers in India by the top of this 12 months in an effort to speed up the event of recent capabilities and enormous language fashions (LLMs).
“This 12 months, we plan to rent an extra 100-plus R&D engineers to strengthen our capabilities,” Vinod Marur, senior vp of Engineering at Databricks, mentioned throughout a media briefing.
The data lakehouse platform supplier opened its R&D hub in Bengaluru in 2023, and since then, it has employed round 100 engineers to help the division.
